They charged me for an item that they didn't deliver

This is my second review for the same issue. Months ago I ordered a few shirts and one of them wasn't in the box. L &T assured me I would get refunded after an "investigation". After calling MULTIPLE times being on hold for more than an hour each time, the person on the phone told me that I would be receiving the refund soon. Weeks and weeks went by, still no refund. I am currently on hold right now for the last hour. It is absolute fraud that this company charged me for an item that wasn't sent. I understand that they made an error. But to NOT fix it and keep my money is outrageous.

Never sent refund

Got my order and one of my items was missing. After an hour waiting for someone to answer, they said they would "investigate it" and give me a refund. 2 months later, NO refund, called several times, waited over an hour on hold each time before giving up. I guess I get to pay for a shirt they never sent me because it's not worth it to try anymore.

Hi, Actually, I want to exchange the item that I return, because I received the wrong item. I purchase the UGG slipper. The package that I receive is not the same item in my order history. Expect the item is not right, another information is the same, so I return the item once i received it. Now I want exchange the shoe that I really buy on the website, or request the refund. After sending over an hour on the phone with their customer service , Im very very disappointed with the response to my questions. I am being charged a total of $43.37 a month in interest rates ??? They could not give me a straight answer. Just saying that the company changed owners in 2016. My balance was a little over $1800.00 in 2016. And it's still over $1800.00 today. I usely give them a $100.00 a month .Can anyone tell me why my internet rate is $20 less than my minimum payment. Is this why they want their customers to go paperless. Can someone please give me an answer.My next step is to contact the BBC

Wrong size delivered TWICE

Ordered a shirt and the wrong size was delivered. I tried to contact Customer Service, but gave up after 32 minutes on hold. I made the decision to just return it and reorder, paying shipping again. Amazingly, they sent the wrong size for a second time! I once again tried to contact Lord &;; Taylor but hung up after 25 min. Thats when I wrote to Pissed Consumer. Unfortunately, I still have not heard from them.

SENT DRESS BACK FOR REFUND AND WAS NOTIFIED THEY HAD RECEIVED IT AND WOULD REFUND MY ACCOUNT. THAT WAS 5 WEEKS AGO. KEEP CALLING AND GETTING RUN AROUND AS TO WHEN THEY WOULD DEPOSIT IT IN MY ACCOUNT. CALLS ARE BEING TRANSFERRED TO THE PHILLIPINES. YOU CAN HARDLY UNDERSTAND THE PEOPLE.

Haven’t heard back from anyone at L&T

I ordered a shirt online and received the wrong size. I tried to contact customer service but was on hold for 32 minutes. I decided to return it and reorder. They sent the same wrong size again even though the order form clearly states the size Im trying to get. Since Ive now paid $7.95 shipping TWICE Im getting frustrated. Plus, I still really want the shirt. When I tried calling a second time I hung up after 25 minutes and wrote to you. I have not heard a peep from Lord and Taylor.

Lord & Taylor has been doing this to everyone. I found it in the comments on their Facebook page.

They are giving everyone a hard time about returns even if you are in the time frame. I had to call my credit card company to dispute charge. Supervisors don’t help.

They say write to corporate. Which people are saying L&T going out if business.

I ordered a coat and received it on January 29th. I sent it back on January 30th via USPS and used the label I printed off from their site. They claim the warehouse never received it even though I have receipt from post office. The post office told me it was delivered at 10:23 am on February 3rd to their warehouse. I started calling them end of February. Got the same service rep twice. I even have a ticket number but cant get through. Its time to write to someone in charge.

I ordered a item 24 hours later I received a email saying it was cancelled due 2 being out of stock & my credit card would not be charged lo & behold they charged my credit card why charge even before they ship anyway. When I called said a hold until April 7. That’s bs not like I cancelled. I want my $ now being email says ur credit card was not charged; not sure if this is legal. 24 hours? Will shop with amazon & nordstroms from now on

I must have spent over 10 hours on the phone with 6 representatives at their call center.Each time they apologized profusely and promised to have the problem resolved but nothing has happened yet.

Please refer to case no. 767225 initiated on 1/22/2020; payment authorized by you on 1/25/2020. This matter has yet to be settled; today is 3/26/2020. I have made several attempts to sort it out with your team with very long hold times but unsuccessfully. Please advise me the status and instruct the concerned department to resolve

Lord and Taylor did not strategically plan nor tweek any of their business processes to help accommodate customers during the current virus pandemic. Im forced to wait 10-14 business days for a $187 refund when supermarket shelves are bare and people who havent died yet, are jobless and home in isolation!
