Lord & Taylor shipped me a set of king sized sheets with too many bar codes. This shipment is currently stuck in a warehouse in Connecticut and FedEx has informed me that they will not be delivered to me.

Lord & Taylor will not refund me for these sheets because I "need to return them." I have no control over if and when FedEx will return these sheets. I have no idea if Lord & Taylor will process them as a return when they receive them. I want a refund immediately since I never received the product and then they can deal with getting their own product back from FedEx.

Two different customer service reps refused to help me with a refund until the sheets were returned. I'm stuck in the middle and just want my money back.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $72.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Lord And Taylor Cons: Zero concern to provide customer service, Not taking responsibility with customer jumping through hoops, Refund problems.

I waited over 3 months for a refund and ONLY received it once I got American Express involved. I urge you to contact either paypal or your credit card company to open a dispute ASAP!

They are knowing ripping people off. Look at the comments here, same story. In my case they received my return items but only gave me a partial refund (like the others here). When I called they said it would take 30 days as per paypal policy.

Then after 30 days, another excuse, and another. They gave me invalid paypal invoice numbers, as they did to others. You wouldn't believe all the stories I was given, all the BS. At first I thought it was a legit mistake, so I was patient.

Now I am 100% convinced they are holding the money back....they just sold their iconic flagship store in NYC, along with 10 others and I heard they will be filing for bankruptcy (I have no proof to the bankruptcy myself, makes sense though, but I do know that they will BS you to no end). I wish you the best of luck and if you get together with others here to get justice, let me know if you need a witness.

Thank you! I opened a dispute with my credit card company and they put the money right back in my account.

It was clear from the tracking number that the items I ordered never came within 300 miles of my home. They were so shady, it was like trying to reason with a scam artist.

I will NEVER shop at L&T again as long as I live, and I've been telling everyone. If they're failing, it sounds like it is their own fault.

Terrific! I hope everyone here being scammed by L&T opens a dispute with their credit card company.

I agree, they were complete scam artists...never saw anything like it, especially from a large scale retailer like L&T. Never again.
