No order confirmation - Lord And Taylor
I placed an online order with Lord and Taylor yesterday AM. was told to expect an order confirmation email within an hour (if you don't see it, check your junk folder etc.).
Well it's been 24 hours and I have yet to receive an order confirmation or any kind of acknowledgment that I even placed an order. I have sent 2 emails (no response), tried the online chat option, as well as speaking to customer service this morning on the phone and was told "we have you order and the correct email address but I just press buttons so I'm not sure why you haven't received the confirm. maybe we have a glitch in the system" the rep said she would resend it...still haven't received it and that was 3 hours ago. I also paid for 2 day shipping and would really like to know if I can expect to receive it within 2 days or not (considering I paid $16.95 to guarantee delivery in time for a trip).
Normally, this wouldn't bother me so much, but after reading so many poor reviews, I am concerned.
I have had one other poor encounter with L&T in the past as well. I would just really appreciate timely responses and resolution as to where my order is and if it was even received.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $68.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

I have had the same issue. I had to go on Twitter to get info.
It took a week for shipment and I'm not sure everything shipped. Am waiting for delivery.
their service takes forever. i had gift cards and that's why I ordered from them but never again.
I'm so sorry you're having the same problem, it's very disappointing! I was just told that even though I paid for 2 day shipping, my order won't ship in that time frame.
I asked to simply have my order canceled/refunded, its just not worth it.
But I'm sure cancellation/refunding will be a whole different issue. I hope your items arrive in one piece!
