Lord And Taylor - Partial Refund
I returned a set of dishes more than 2 weeks ago. The courier picked it up from my apartment.
It was one order but there were 4 boxes. Since then, I have only received a partial refund and Lord and Taylor is now saying they need up to another 3 weeks to resolve the matter.
I am extremely disappointed with the way Lord and Taylor has handled this return. When I've called to try to resolve the issue, I am told they can't track the package. In emails, I'm told they need more time to look into it.
The whole thing doesn't make sense because they received part of the return but aren't willing to tell me why they haven't received the rest of it when it was all shipped back as part of one shipment and with one tracking number. They wont' give me the tracking information either.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

People are going through the same exact scam, that's what it is. After going through 3 months of excuses and promises, I got fed up and called my credit card company to open a dispute...I recommend you do the same, ASAP.
Call your credit card company and open a dispute ASAP. Their partial refund is a scam...they make it seem like paypal is holding back the money and you need to wait 30 days. But it is not paypal, they give you a partial refund in the hopes you forget about the rest, or get fed up and give up. You would not believe the BS, excuses, and promises L&T customer service put me through for 3 months!
Only when my credit card company got involve did I receive a full refund...in less than 24 hrs. later. I can't believe they think they can get away with this. Never thought the 100 yr.
old company would have this little integrity (BTW company was sold in 2016 and already had problems with fraud (they gave women $1000 and a dress they were promoting from their own line, to take a picture with it and upload pic with a raving review. They got busted! Unbelievable!...BTW they had to sell their iconic NYC flagship store this week, along with ten other stores (out of 50 stores). This is as much about the money as it is about principle.
Don't let then get away with this...they want you to get fed up and give up. Good Luck!
